journal uno

mind maps- help from ideas by connecting words or images with each with whatever one can think of. Its a good idea to not reject any associations because you never when the offbeat word may become useful.

concept maps- are very similar to mind maps but are more conditional and rely on statement like "if", "maybe", "with", "in addition to" etc.

free writing- is when one writes whatever comes to mind when a certain word(s) is said

word lists- similar to the free writing exercise but less poetic in a way and not really associating word after word together.

reflective writing- is looking back and writing about what has been done and what could have been done differently. An example of this would be process books

journals/notebooks- are a pretty casual one just keeps drawing, or text to keep thoughts and ideas
